susanne doise

Susanne’s expertise is based on her creative talent, practical design capabilities and strong technical and project management skills. Her engineering experience, understanding of building techniques and an eagerness to keep up with the changes in North American and European technology help differentiate Sensitive Design from its competitors.

Born in Germany, Susanne graduated from the University of Munich with a degree in Architecture (Diplom- Ingenieur), followed by postgraduate studies at the Academy of Art in Munich. Her early career included various assignments with architectural companies in Germany, USA and Canada before permanently taking up residence in Vancouver in 1988.

She is a member of the Interior Design Institute in BC, Professional Designer, NCIDQ # 026100, and the Greater Vancouver Homebuilder Association.

Since establishing Sensitive Design in 1996, Susanne has undertaken numerous design and project management assignments ranging from the very large (house and condominium design and construction) to the very small (kitchen and bathroom renovations).

Strong interpersonal skills and a driving desire to provide client satisfaction result in uncompromising attention to detail and a willingness to go the “extra mile”.

Traditionally schooled in Classical Feng Shui by the ‘New York and European School of Feng Shui’ with Roger Green and Feng Shui Master Professor Jian Jun Cheng; and Dr. Lily Chung (author of ‘Path to Good Fortune: The Meng’) from San Francisco.

In addition to managing Sensitive Design, Susanne is fluent in English, German and French. She resides in West Vancouver with her two teenage children and in her spare time enjoys teaching skiing in Whistler.
