Deciding not to rebuild, and rather to renovate with the focus on enhancing our unobstructed view, Susanne gave us the confidence to pursue our vision which felt very overwhelming and scary in the beginning. Bringing a team of professionals and architect Bernard Mottet, she accomplished our dream. Her creative ideas, design and project management skills makes us enjoy our home every day and putting behind many challenging decisions we had to make along the way.

As an associate with Mottet Architect Inc., designed and managed the renovation with the objective to create an open and modern floor plan, keeping the existing footprints of the house, which resulted in major structural changes. Redesigned the roof structure with large beams. Energy efficiency and green building products were very important to the client. Tankless hot water heater, a high performance Vissmann heating system, floor heating, replacing all window with double glazing European tilt and turn windows/doors, bamboo flooring, dual flush toilets and re-drywalling the exterior wall to increase insulation to building code standards.
